    Great op-ed in the Oregonian!

I have very little in the way of extra income, BUT I do have a lot of books. Is it possible to donate books instead of dollars? I wouldn’t give anything that’s beat up or a crappy read – just stuff I’ve sort of outgrown, cannot see re-reading (which has been the criteria for whether or not I keep a book…).

Thanks, Pam Allee, North Portland (St Johns)

I was at Elephant park and then moved. I kept returning to Elephant park and never saw the book cart. I checked out a romance western, I put the book in my storage unit and since have moved storage units. All the books are not together.
Can you remind me the Title and Author that is checked out to me, so I can find it? And do you continue in the winter months, what does the schedule look like?

    Looking forward to your reply.

I’m a fan of Street Books — love what you do.

I have some books to send — more Louis L”Amour — but have misplaced the PO Box number. Please send the address.

Your service is beautiful! Very… touching, and does such a wonderful thing for people.

I would love to help set this up in San Francisco. I know this city very well, having lived here on and off some 30 years. I’m a bicyclist, and I know where many of the alternatively housed live and hang out. Let’s talk!
